To start the program up, boot from the Networking/Comms CD and use the
keydisk-swap boot feature to launch this CD. Amiga users with add-on
CD-ROM drives, simply load Workbench, insert this CD and double-click on
the disk icon, then double-click on the program icon. <But you knew that
already ;->
The program offers a tutorial before going into the actual book collection
- bear in mind that most CDTV control systems can be mapped by keyboard,
joystick or mouse. The CDTV instrictions are provided - the CD32 will map
RED as buttn A, BLUE as button B - the cursor is moved with the the
standard directional control on the joypad.
Mouse movements are mapped with LEFT mouse-button as button A, RIGHT
mousebutton as button B, with movement also mapped. You may want to turn
off any pointer-blanking commodities or input hacks <suck as Yak, DMouse,
&tc> as the program cursor is the mouse pointer, and if it gets switched
off, you can't see what you're selecting...
Note:
If you are using Illustrated Guide to Shakespeare on an AGA machine (or a
machine equipped with a third party graphics card) the display may be
corrupt on startup.
Simply hold down the Right-Amiga key and press the A key a few times until
the display corrects itself. This key combination can also be used to
switch between Shakespeare and workbench if you wish to multitask other
programs.
To quit the Illustrated Guide to Shakespeare, simply press Control-C at any
time while using the program.
